What Is Goop?
Goop is the prestige currency of Slime RNG. Unlike Coins (which reset every Rebirth), Goop is the resource you accumulate to make your next prestige cycle stronger. Every Rebirth you execute spends Goop in exchange for a permanent luck multiplier that survives future resets.
Goop is deflationary by design. As you accumulate it, your next Rebirth grants a disproportionately larger luck multiplier. Players routinely see jumps from 65x to 98x — and 98x to 150x — purely from spending more Goop per Rebirth.
How to Unlock Goop
Before you can earn a single drop of Goop, you must complete one mandatory step:
- Spend exactly 10,000,000 coins in the skill upgrade tree. This unlocks the Goop drop tier for all enemy kills going forward.
- Once unlocked, every enemy kill has a small chance to drop Goop on death (auto-collected).
- The Goop drop is added on top of the regular Coin yield — Goop farming never reduces your Coin income.
The 10,000,000 coin threshold is the single biggest mid-game bottleneck. Reaching it efficiently is covered in the Advanced Meta Guide. The short version: prioritize Enemy Count upgrades, not Luck, until you break 10M.
The Goop Upgrade Tree
Once Goop is unlocked, you can spend Coins to upgrade your Goop income. Each tier stacks additively:
Goop Drop +10% (stacking)
The cornerstone upgrade. Every level increases the chance an enemy drops Goop on death by 10%. Prioritize this tier first because it scales linearly with your farming time.
Goop Value Upgrades
Multiplies the amount of Goop received per drop. Less impactful than Drop Rate in raw terms, but essential for the late-game Rebirth thresholds (300, 500, 1000+ Goop per cycle).
Goop Finder
Improves the on-screen indicator for Goop drops. A quality-of-life upgrade that does not change drop rates but reduces missed pickups during heavy farming sessions.
Server Luck Multiplier
While not strictly a "Goop upgrade", your luck multiplier directly improves Goop drop rates. See the Server Luck section for details.
Fastest Goop Farming Routes (June 2026)

Early Rebirth (1st-3rd cycle)
- Best zone range: Zone 5-7 (Storm, Void, Crystal Cave)
- Why: Balances enemy HP against your team DPS. Goop drops per minute peak here once your slimes can clear in <10 seconds.

Mid Rebirth (4th-10th cycle)

The Rebirth mechanic is the primary purpose of Goop. Each level of Goop you spend at Rebirth translates roughly to a +15-20x luck multiplier on average. The compounding effect is dramatic:

When NOT to Farm Goop
Some situations make Goop farming inefficient:
- Pre-10M coins: Your Goop drops are locked anyway. Focus 100% on Coin income and Zone progression.
- Right after a Rebirth: Your team's power resets with you. Re-establish Coin income first (Zones 1-3), then transition to Goop farming once DPS is restored.
- During code-only farming: Ultra Luck Boost codes (like

Advanced Tips

Once unlocked, you earn both simultaneously — you never need to choose. The optimization is about where you farm, not which currency you prioritize.
Do fruits give Goop?
No. Fruits give XP to slimes (75 XP each — Apple, Cherry, Carrot, Banana). They do not directly affect Goop drops. They help your slimes level up and clear faster, which indirectly improves Goop-per-hour.
Does the Crafting Machine use Goop?
No. Crafting uses specific slime materials, not Goop. Goop is reserved exclusively for Rebirthing.
