Rarity & Odds Guide

Every Slime RNG rarity tier explained — Huge, Shiny, Inverted, Mythic — and the math behind how your luck multiplier changes the odds.

How Rolling Works in Slime RNG

Every roll in Slime RNG produces two independent outcomes that combine to form your final slime:

  1. Base rarity — Common / Uncommon / Rare / Epic / Legendary / Mythic. Determined by a single weighted roll.
  2. Variant modifier — Standard / Big / Shiny / Huge / Inverted. Applied AFTER the base rarity roll. A Huge Common and a Shiny Mythic are both possible.

Your total luck multiplier then divides the resulting odds. Higher luck = rarer outcomes become common. This is why max-luck Rebirth grinding is the only path to Mythic-tier and Huge variants for most players.

Base Rarity Tiers

These are the foundation. Odds below are the unmodified base rate (no luck multiplier):

Rarity Base Odds Notes
Common ~1 in 3 Starter slimes (Fin, Basic Slime, Green Slime, Water Slime)
Uncommon ~1 in 10 Rocky, Spike, Fire Slime, Ice Slime
Rare ~1 in 1,000 Orca, Lucky Slime (mid-game meta carries)
Epic ~1 in 10,000 Pre-crafting powerhouses
Legendary ~1 in 100,000 Most Huge variants roll from this tier
Mythic ~1 in 1,000,000 Void Slime (pinnacle). Display-only — cannot be traded.

Base rarity odds are documented in Slime Collection and cross-verified with the community Discord. Variant odds below are also confirmed across the same sources.

Huge Slime Odds

Huge is the most coveted variant modifier. It applies on top of any base rarity and grants massive stat multipliers plus expanded AoE.

Combination Base Odds @ 100x Luck
Huge Common ~1 in 3,000 ~1 in 30
Huge Rare ~1 in 1,000,000 ~1 in 10,000
Huge Legendary ~1 in 100,000,000 ~1 in 1,000,000
Huge Mythic ~1 in 1,000,000,000 ~1 in 10,000,000

Huge variants confirmed in-game (June 2026): Huge Rocky, Huge Spike, Huge Lucky. See Tier List for stats.

Shiny Slime Odds

Shiny is a cosmetic-plus-stats modifier. Shiny slimes have a unique aura visual and a stat boost that stacks with their base rarity.

  • Base chance: ~0.4% (1 in 250) on top of any rarity roll
  • Shiny Common at base: ~1 in 750 (combined probability)
  • Shiny Mythic at base: ~1 in 250,000,000

At 100x luck, a Shiny Common becomes ~1 in 7.5 — practically guaranteed during an active farming session. This is why experienced players consider Shiny Commons more valuable than un-shiny Rares for grinding.

Inverted Slime Odds

Inverted is the rarest standard variant. Visually distinct with inverted colors. Base chance ~0.04% (1 in 2,500).

  • Inverted Common at base: ~1 in 7,500
  • Inverted Mythic at base: ~1 in 2,500,000,000
  • @ 100x luck: Inverted Common drops to ~1 in 75

Big Slime Odds

Big is a more common variant (1% per roll). Big slimes have moderate stat bonuses and a larger sprite but no aura. Often used as "filler" while waiting for Huge or Shiny rolls.

The Mythic Tier — Void Slime

Void Slime is the only confirmed Mythic-tier slime as of June 2026. It cannot be traded and is functionally a status symbol. Its unique ability set is undocumented officially — the community has compiled observed behaviors:

  • Approximate base odds: 1 in 10,000,000 (combines Mythic base rarity + variant roll)
  • At 1,000x luck: ~1 in 10,000 — reachable for endgame players
  • Crafted Mythic slimes exist in the May 2026 Mega Update as an alternative acquisition path

How Luck Multipliers Stack

Your effective luck is the product of several layers. From Advanced Meta Guide:

Luck Stacking Formula:

Total Luck = (Base + Group Bonus) × Rebirth Multiplier × Skill Tree Upgrades × Temporary Potions

  • Stouts Studio Roblox Group: +1 additive luck (mandatory for serious players)
  • Rebirth multiplier: Multiplicative, compounds across cycles (65x → 98x → 150x+)
  • Skill Tree: Super Luck and Ultra Luck are direct multipliers
  • Temporary potions: From active codes like goingBananas (+100% luck for 10 minutes)
  • Server Luck: Indirect (varies by server population)

Crafting as an Alternative Path

The May 2026 Mega Update introduced the Crafting Machine in the Heaven zone. It offers an alternative acquisition path for several Huge and Mythic-tier slimes, but:

  • Crafting requires finding recipe items hidden in specific zones
  • The materials themselves are rare slime drops
  • Drop rates for crafted slimes are fixed but the materials take time to gather
  • Crafted slimes are NOT guaranteed Mythic — they have fixed rarities per recipe

See the Crafting Recipes Guide for the full list of craftable slimes and their fixed rarities.

Probability Cliff Notes

  • Common roll: ~1 in 3 base → ~1 in 0.03 at 100x luck
  • Rare roll: ~1 in 1,000 base → ~1 in 10 at 100x luck
  • Mythic roll: ~1 in 1,000,000 base → ~1 in 10,000 at 100x luck
  • Huge variant: 0.1% on top of any roll
  • Shiny variant: 0.4% on top of any roll
  • Inverted variant: 0.04% on top of any roll
Practical Takeaway:

Roll as much as possible while your Ultra Luck Boost from codes is active, then Rebirth. The compounding math favors volume over any single lucky roll. Pair this with the Goop Farm Guide for optimal Rebirth timing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the game have a pity timer?

No. Slime RNG has no pity mechanic. The only ways to improve rare-drop odds are: (1) higher luck multiplier via Rebirth, (2) active potions from codes, and (3) crafting for guaranteed fixed-rarity outcomes.

Do Big or Shiny stack with Huge?

No. Each roll produces exactly one variant modifier. You cannot roll a "Big Shiny Huge" slime — you get one of {Standard, Big, Shiny, Huge, Inverted} per roll.

How is Server Luck different from personal luck?

Personal luck is your own multipliers (Rebirth, Skill Tree, Potions). Server Luck is the total luck of all players on a server, divided by player count, applied to your roll. See Phase 3.6: Server Luck for the full model.
